Value Added Tax (VAT)

The UAE operates a Value Added Tax (VAT) system with a standard rate of 5%, along with zero-rated and exempt supplies. NewageNXT helps forwarders apply VAT rules accurately and consistently across all Emirates.

PEPPOL-Certified Access Point Provider

Newage is certified by PEPPOL to serve as an access point provider, supporting e-Invoicing through the PEPPOL network. Forwarders operating in the UAE can exchange compliant e-Invoices where PEPPOL connectivity is required.

Air Cargo Manifest Filing

Air Cargo Manifest charges cover fees for documenting and processing cargo for air transport. NewageNXT uses Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to send Air Cargo Manifests directly to custom authorities for clearance, inspection, and duty collection and to the airline/carrier for logistics, helping forwarders save money.

Maritime Pre-Load Cargo Information (MPCI)

The MPCI program goes into full effect April 2026. We help you meet program requirements with the electronic submission of detailed cargo information at least 24 hours before loading at the last foreign port for all containerized cargo entering, transiting, or transhipping through the UAE.
